Here

Here is the cover for my latest Scrapbook it is the new class from Shimele Laine and Two Peas in a Bucket.

You start by taking photos of where you live to a series of prompts then you journal and finally you scrap when you have the “Here” sorted.

Then you work on the “There” the place you have been away from Home.

Finally you work on the ”Everywhere”  this is the places you would like to go, it runs over 6 weeks with a fortnight for each part I have just got the last prompt fro Here, today.

Local place’s of interest

The “Here” also cover your routes to work, school and other regular places you visit, in your day to day life.

As most of my route to work is on Motorways I used some aerial photographs taken by my DH from a helicopter outing over Bristol they show our home the motorways around Bristol and where I work,

I travel 130 miles to work in a week but only 364 mile in 4 weeks this is due to the shift pattern I work.

This page is how I would like to travel back in time and see Brislington as it was before my house was built in 1904.

Bristol Blue Glass a souvenir of Brislington.

My 12 x 12 Scrapbook Pages

These are photos taken of  DGS2 over the last 6 months 1 for each month and 1 that we just like a lot, all have the month or his name added with Paintshop Pro

Kite Flying

Kite Flying in Keynsham Park these were taken for my Painting with Light photography course

When I was an SLA analyst for Orange,  I was taken for a day out with my family by one of our suppliers to the London Eye, a Frog tour down the Thames and then dinner at Planet Hollywood.  We all had a great time .

DGS2 is a star in front of the lens every time I get the camera out he smiles and poses, this was a great shot taken when I was baby sitting.

These pages were made from photos taken on the 31st of May 2009 on DGS2s first trip to the seaside at Dawlish Warren.

This is a canvas that I made using Rusty Pickle Rock Star patterned paper and photos of DGS1 taken during the Cyber Crop.

This page is of DGS1 when we were building the workshop in the garden .

This is a Scrap lift from the new magazine  Scrapbook Trends Issue 3.  I am finding it very inspiring. The pictures are of DGS1 some years ago when he was ring bearer at Faye and Marcs wedding in  2000.

Another scraplift of DGS1 at an Orange Fun Day, a day out for employees and there families that was called a Hoot  I think this is from the Hootenanny.

Hootenanny was used in the early twentieth century America to refer to things whose names were forgotten or unknown. In this usage it was synonymous with thingamajig or whatchamacallit, as in "hand me that hootenanny." Hootenanny was also an old country word for "party". Now, most commonly, it refers to a folk-music party.

DGS1 liked to dress up as a dinosaur when he was little, the basic grey patterned paper seemed just the thing for these pages.

Mini Book in a Tin

I made this mini book in a tin for my DD2 to cheer her up after she wrote her car off, She was just a little sore but the car was a sorry sight,

I used K & Co Papers in shades of Blue and as the Dragonfly and Waterlilies were the theme for her wedding  it was perfect.

My Craft Room

Until May I would craft at the dinning table clearing away for meals.
