My Tag Book – Baby Tale

Mel81pop is a very talented scrapper and she has a number of  friends who are at various levels of Scrapbooking from beginers to quite advanced, to help those starting out she has been holding classes and as we all enjoy a good chat and some new challenges I went along  below are  the pages from my tag book  started during the class and finished at home.

Here is the front cover of my book, The title was set by the alphas I used, as they were too big to fit Babies Tale on the cover.

The reason for the book was that there had been a lot of babies this last year or so, we had managed with only the one Grandchild for 14 years and then like buses 3 came along in quick succsession. Don't get me wrong I would not part with any of them but it was all babies so to be able to compare them all easily I made a book of babies,

Starting with my Husband Roger in 1948

Then there was me  in 1957

Then our first Daughter Laura 1976

1978 saw the arrival of Abigail

Then in 1982 our son James

First of the Grandchidren was Philip in 1995

More pictures of Philip

Then Nathaniel arrived a brother for Philip in 2008

Then in 2009  a little sister for them both with the arrival of Zoe

Then a month later Ari was here

This was a lovely project to do and for a little book there are so many surfaces to  add picture and embelishments too, Thank you Phillipa

no3 is sabulous * Masquerade – W’eve got her piccy for inspiration and she said: “Thinking masks etc and very colourful…”; “I’m thinking lots of colours, bits&bobs and different textures/materials. And masks of course”

4.Terris Chocolat’s theme is Ammonites – “Natural colour Browns, Beige, Taupe, Black and greys. Fossils can feature as well the Fish skeletons and Trilobites kind please”

5. Pip = ‘wings’. “Be as imaginative as you like but could it be vintagy please rather than too modern other than that I’ve no preferences”

6 mel81pop = metal grungey -pieces “I would like metal grungy – and also I am not going to use my pieces to reform the jigsaw – they are going to be embelllishments in a mini book for my teenage son – so you can do them any way up, back to front and have anything sticking out, or hanging down (yes please!) – as chunky as you like thank you”)

7.nettyb, a Steampunk theme – “Victoriana meets mechnical – pretty roses, butterflies, corsets meets cogs, clockwork bits and bobs etc. ”
